Fear Mongering Propaganda
Project 2025 Comparisons To Mein Kampf Are Absurd
Recently, I have seen a number of posts opposing Project 2025 by comparing it to Hitler's Mein Kampf.
I have never read Mein Kampf nor have I read the 900+ pages of Project 2025.
Yet, I feel confident in saying that these comparisons are ridiculous.
They are either rooted in ignorance or are deliberate lies intended to mislead and frighten people into believing that Donald Trump is a modern day Adolf Hitler.
(I'm guessing it's more deliberate lies than ignorance. Maybe deliberate lies AND ignorance).
According to the BBC (A typical, large, well-know, “mainstream” legacy “media” outlet, considered to be left-leaning)…………
“The four main aims: restore the family as the centrepiece of American life; dismantle the administrative state; defend the nation’s sovereignty and borders; and secure God-given individual rights to live freely.”
In general, that sounds very good to me, tbh.
Since I haven't read it, I can't speak to the details. I imagine there is much that I would like in there and much that I would not like in there too.
Dismantling the administrative state and securing individual rights to live freely are definitely not generally associated with Hitler and the Nazis in practice.
As mentioned, I did not read Mein Kampf so I don't know if it proposed these ideas and then later morphed into the evil Fascism we associate with the Nazis today.
More importantly, Trump did not write, produce, have input in, or even endorse Project 2025 in any way.
In fact, he rejected much of it……
“I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they’re saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal," he wrote.
…..I have nothing to do with them."
- Donald Trump
It is also worth noting that Trump was, in fact, President for four years.
I don't think a reasonable person can conclude that we bore any resemblance to Nazi Germany at the conclusion of his Presidency.
(I personally have never been much of a Trump fan. I don't like his personality. I did not vote for him in the past. But, I have to admit that I was a little bit pleasantly surprised by his Presidency, in general.)
Hitler’s Nazis (National Socialist German Workers' Party), like the Communist party of Stalin in the USSR, (Union of Socialist Soviet Republics) as well as Mao, Polpot, Castro, Nicolae Ceaușescu (Romania), Enver Hoxha (Albania), Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro (Venezuela), Mussolini (Started as a Socialist activist, came to power as a Fascist, I think) were all left-leaning Marxist/Socialists when they became popular or rose to power.
Imo, it is actually the left of today, the Democrats, who are using many of the Marxist, Communist, and Fascist ideas and strategies of their left leaning predecessors.
Accusing their enemies of what they are doing themselves.
Repeating lies over and over until they become the truth.
Identity politics: Deliberately pitting classes or races against each other, critical race theory, DEI.
Deliberately opening the border to increase that tension.
Supporting/encouraging/accepting/
downplaying riots by members of their own party.
Unequal prosecution of laws:
Federally, or in Democratic areas, rioters, other criminals, recent “mostly peaceful” protestors etc often have their charges dropped or get a slap on the wrist when they belong to a demographic that typically votes Democratic (Blacks, Latinos, indoctrinated college students, professors, illegal aliens (I’m aware that, as if now, they can't vote legally). Etc.
In contrast, January 6th “Insurrectionists” (One of the most heavily armed demographics in the history of the world attempted an “insurrection” without bringing their guns? Unbelievable!) were dealt with very harshly, in many cases likely violating their rights of due process.
Allegedly weoponizing the DOJ, FBI, and IRS against their political opponents and non-political dissenters of their positions (including concerned parents at school board meetings).
Censorship of political opponents and of non-political dissenters of their positions through cooperation with/pressuring/threatening/cajoling/requesting of traditional media outlets as well as big-tech Social Media Corporations.
Lawfare:
Two, highly questionable, impeachments.
Attempting to use the law to remove their chief political opponent from ballots in some states.
Politically motivated indictments and civil suits against Donald Trump, the most recent former President and their main challenger in the upcoming election, often using unprecedented or highly unusual legal arguments and tactics which according to many legal scholars (including prominent, usually left-leaning legal/constitutional experts) have violated his rights to a fair trial, due process, innocence until proven guilty, excessive fines and punishments and/or equal prosecution under the law.
If any party today should be feared bc they bear a resemblance to Fascists or Communists it is the Democrats.
Accusing Trump of being a Fascist (or Communist, or dictatorial) is just a part of the playbook.
“Accuse your enemy of what you are doing, as you are doing it, to create confusion.” - Karl Marx
“Always accuse your enemies of what you are actually doing” - Joseph Goebbels
“Show me the man and I’ll show you the crime” - a notorious quote attributed to Lavrentiy Beria, the ruthless and longest-serving secret police chief in Joseph Stalin’s reign of terror in Russia and Eastern Europe.

Well said! They have nothing solid to run on, so they have to fear monger. People need to check out Trump's Agenda 47: https://www.donaldjtrump.com/agenda47.
He has created videos for each of his agenda points. That's what they should focus on.
Before longer, more responsive persons will realize Trump is just an ordinary good guy who knows a lot and sees outcomes a little earlier than most. Trump does work like nobody else to secure blessings of liberty. That alone sets him apart.
The rest is up to us.
